“George really understands how to communicate with children of all ages. She invites them to open the door to creativity and imagination. I’ve attended her classes for the past year with my daughter and I continue to be impressed by how well prepared and well paced they are. George is so observant! She weaves in the ideas generated by the children with flair, immense kindness and a twinkle in her eye. The classes are super fun AND the children learn such a lot about themselves and the world around them.” Sam, mother of Lily aged 5
We offer playful, creative and imaginative classes for children of different ages where kids can learn theatre and dance skills, develop confidence and have great fun!
All classes are taught in English and are a great way to practice for those growing up with 2 languages. They take place in our bright studio overlooking the Vondelpark on the top floor of the OT301, a social and cultural centre run by an artists collective, near the centre of Amsterdam. They are designed by theatre-maker Georgina Dean, a British performer trained in the UK and The Netherlands. She has been teaching since 2012 and is herself a parent to two young adults.
We are committed to being as inclusive as possible. Classes are LGBT+ family friendly and celebrate all nationalities, and all ethnic and cultural backgrounds. Unfortunately our studio is not currently accessible for wheelchair users, but together with other members of our building, we are working on finding a long term solution for this.
We want to make our classes available for all families, therefore we offer a cheaper price for those with a very low income, stadspas and for children with special needs. Please go to the specific class page for pricing and contact us for a concessionary request.
