**COVID-19 update: At the moment classes are put on hold until the current strict lockdown is eased and we can be back in the studio together. When we start again, the same extra safety measures will be in place that we were keeping to last year. These include smaller class sizes, ventilating the space with fresh air throughout the class and having plenty of disinfectant to hand. We keep distance as much as possible, whilst still allowing for moments of dancing and moving around. Adults wear masks when walking through the building to and from the class, and parents are also welcome to wear them during the class itself. If any planned classes cannot take place because of official lockdown restrictions, you can choose either to get a refund for the cancelled classes or use the payment as credit for future courses. If you have questions about this, please get in touch**
“George really understands how to communicate with children of all ages. She invites them to open the door to creativity and imagination. I’ve attended her classes for the past year with my daughter and I continue to be impressed by how well prepared and well paced they are. George is so observant! She weaves in the ideas generated by the children with flair, immense kindness and a twinkle in her eye. The classes are super fun AND the children learn such a lot about themselves and the world around them.” Sam, mother of Lily aged 5
We offer playful, creative and imaginative classes for children of different ages where kids can learn theatre and dance skills, develop confidence and have great fun!
All classes are taught in English and are a great way to practice for those growing up with 2 languages. An organic cookie and drink is included in the price for each session.
Classes take place in our bright, airy studio overlooking the Vondelpark on the top floor of the OT301, a social and cultural centre run by an artists collective, near the centre of Amsterdam. They are designed by Georgina Dean, a British performer and theatre-maker trained in the UK and the Netherlands. She has been teaching as a freelancer since 2012 and is mother to two teenagers.
We want to make our classes available for all families, therefore we offer a cheaper price for those with a very low income, stadspas and for children with special needs. Please go to the specific class page for pricing and contact us for a concessionary request.
